Legal / Investment Disclaimer

This page sets out important legal and investment disclaimers that apply to:

  • the WANNA protocol,

  • G-Series Stablecoin 2.0 (including GUSD and other G-Series assets), and

  • the WANNA token (“WANNA”).

Please read this section carefully before using the protocol, holding any related tokens, or relying on this documentation.

  • The whitepaper, GitBook, website, and all related materials are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

  • Nothing in these materials should be interpreted as:

    • legal advice,

    • tax advice,

    • accounting advice, or

    • financial / investment advice, in any jurisdiction.

If you require advice on:

  • whether you may legally use G-Series or WANNA,

  • how local laws (e.g., securities, derivatives, payments, FX, sanctions) apply to you, or

  • your tax or reporting obligations,

you must consult your own qualified legal, tax, or financial advisor.

2. No Offer or Solicitation

Nothing in this documentation constitutes:

  • an offer to sell,

  • a solicitation of an offer to buy, or

  • a recommendation to trade

any token, security, or financial instrument, including but not limited to G-Series or WANNA.

In particular:

  • No part of this document, or any accompanying presentation, website, or communication, is intended to form the basis of, or be relied on in connection with, any investment decision.

  • Participation in any token sale, liquidity provision, or protocol usage is entirely voluntary and at the sole risk of the participant.

Any actual token sale or offering, if conducted, will be governed by separate, specific terms and conditions, which must be reviewed and agreed to independently.

3. No Guarantee of Value, Profit, or Stability

Digital assets are highly volatile and speculative. The protocol does not and cannot guarantee:

  • that any token (including WANNA, GUSD, or G-Series assets) will maintain a stable value,

  • that any market will exist or continue to exist for any token,

  • that any price level, yield, or return will be achieved or maintained,

  • that any peg mechanism, risk model, or collateral structure will perform as intended under all conditions.

Users may suffer partial or total loss of their holdings due to, among other things:

  • market volatility and liquidity shocks,

  • smart contract vulnerabilities or exploits,

  • failure or de-peg of collateral assets,

  • regulatory actions or policy changes,

  • operational, technical, or governance failures.

No statement in this documentation should be interpreted as a promise, warranty, or assurance of:

  • capital protection,

  • fixed or minimum returns, or

  • future token price performance.

4. Forward-Looking Statements

This documentation may contain forward-looking statements, including:

  • future roadmap items,

  • planned features or phases,

  • potential partnerships or integrations,

  • intended regulatory and compliance approaches.

These statements are based on current expectations and assumptions and are subject to:

  • technological, market, legal, and regulatory uncertainty,

  • factors beyond the control of the team or contributors.

As a result:

  • actual outcomes may differ materially from those described, and

  • no guarantee is given that any particular plan, integration, or phase will be delivered as described, on time, or at all.

Forward-looking statements speak only as of the date they are made and may become outdated without notice.

5. Regulatory and Jurisdictional Uncertainty

The legal and regulatory treatment of stablecoins, DeFi protocols, and governance tokens:

  • varies significantly by jurisdiction, and

  • is evolving rapidly.

It is possible that:

  • laws, regulations, or regulatory interpretations may change after this document is published;

  • such changes may restrict, limit, or prohibit:

    • the operation of the protocol,

    • the listing or trading of related tokens, or

    • certain services in specific countries or to specific user groups.

WANNA may, within reasonable bounds and without obligation, modify, restrict, suspend, or terminate certain features or services in response to regulatory developments. These actions may not be favorable to all users and may occur without prior individual notice.

Each user is responsible for:

  • confirming that their use of the protocol and related tokens is legal in their jurisdiction, and

  • complying with all applicable laws, including but not limited to:

    • securities, derivatives, and payments regulation,

    • KYC/AML and sanctions laws,

    • tax and reporting obligations.

6. No Reliance & No Responsibility for Losses

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • neither the core contributors, nor any affiliated foundation or entity, nor any developer, advisor, or service provider:

    • makes any representations or warranties (express or implied) regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the information in this documentation, and

    • accepts any liability for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from:

      • use of, or reliance on, this documentation,

      • use of the protocol or related smart contracts, or

      • holding, trading, or otherwise interacting with related tokens.

You should not rely solely on this documentation to make any financial, investment, legal, or tax decisions.

7. Your Responsibility

By interacting with the protocol or related tokens, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • you have read and understood:

    • this Legal / Investment Disclaimer, and

    • the Risk & Limitations section (including Smart Contract, Regulatory, and Collateral Risk),

  • you are solely responsible for:

    • evaluating the risks,

    • deciding whether the protocol is appropriate for you, and

    • using only funds you can afford to lose.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the protocol, hold related tokens, or rely on this documentation.
